Cold Lake RCMP say vehicle theft suspect used victim's wallet in store

On Saturday, Feb. 18 at 9:19 a.m., Cold Lake RCMP received a report that a  break and enter had occurred at a business on Highway 55 in Cold Lake. Upon investigation, it was determined that at some point overnight, eight vehicles were stolen from the property, three were vandalized, and extensive exterior damage was done to the business.

A wallet belonging to the owner of one of the stolen vehicles was left inside the vehicle and police say a suspect used funds in the wallet to purchase items at a nearby convenience store.  Security footage from the convenience store was reviewed by police, leading to the release of an image of a suspect.

Cold Lake RCMP is looking for a male with fair complexion, who stands approximately five feet, nine inches tall with a slender build.
