Community members fuel up with Shiver Fest pancake breakfast

A hearty and delicious pancake breakfast was served up as part of the Shiver Fest celebrations at the St. Paul Recreation Centre.

ST. PAUL – A hearty and delicious pancake breakfast was served up as part of the Shiver Fest celebrations at the St. Paul Recreation Centre. 

Lynn Smid, St. Paul Regional Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) director said she was happy with the turnout. The event attracted a crowd of families with approximately 150 individuals served.

“It’s great to see many families and young kids participating, and we even had some seniors come out and join us,” she said. 

Maureen Miller, Mayor of the Town of St. Paul, was also present during the event. She stated it was “great” the Shiver Fest was extended for more days, giving families more opportunities to come out and enjoy the events. 

Miller also thanked all the volunteers for helping out, stating they deserve acknowledgement and appreciation for their work.
