The Lac La Biche Farmers’ Market hosted an Easter-themed party and egg hunt on the Lakeland Agricultural Society grounds on Good Friday afternoon.
Throughout the afternoon, dozens of families played various fair-themed games, while their children took part in hands-on activities, photos with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt with prizes.
Right next door to the event, in the Lakeland Agricom, the Farmers Market was in full swing with almost 40 vendors from across the province selling sweet treats, homemade foods and handmade jewelry and clothing. The Farmers Market, which officially opened on April 8, will run every Friday from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Dec. 9.
