Fort McMurray RCMP look for missing woman

Police seek same woman who went missing with her baby in November

For the second time in just over a month, Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking for 26-year-old Nancy Lynn Corrigan.

RCMP issued a missing person press release on Thursday, December 15, saying Corrigan was last seen in Fort McMurray on December 9.

A month earlier, RCMP issued a missing person report for Corrigan and her two-month old daughter Ella Janvier. That release, issued on November 5 , said the pair had been missing since November 2.  A day later, on November 6, RCMP reported both Corrigan and the infant had been located safe and sound.

In the latest request for the public's assistance, only Corrigan has been reported missing.

When contacted, RCMP said the baby was not part of the current missing person file.

Wood Buffalo RCMP wish to locate Corrigan to confirm her well-being.

Nancy Lynn Corrigan is described as:

  • 5 feet 1 inches

  • 114 lbs

  • Hazel eyes

  • Brown hair

Anyone who has been in contact with Nancy Lynn Corrigan, or has information on her whereabouts, is encouraged to contact the Fort McMurray RCMP at 780-343-7200. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
