Lac La Biche Main Street in a Winter Chill?
With temperatures across the Lakeland plumeting over the last week, POST staff put together a few images from the main downtown area (it was too cold to go much further). Here's some recent images from the deep freeze.
St. Paul in the deep freeze
Communities across the region experienced extreme cold over the past few days. In St. Paul, school buses didn't run on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday due to -40C temperatures. Some mornings, with the windchill taken into account, the temperature hit below -50C. Photos taken by St. Paul Journal staff, and submitted via the Journal's Facebook page.
