Graduates earn their diplomas at Bonnyville Outreach School

BONNYVILLE - The graduation ceremony was a small and intimate affair for the Bonnyville Outreach School (BOS) Graduates, their friends and  family as well as school instructors and administrators.

While 15 students completed their high school credits with BOS, earning themselves a diploma during the 2021-22 academic year, seven students took part in the BOS's graduation ceremony on June 23.

A handful of BOS grads also participated in commencement ceremonies at Bonnyville Centralized High School and at Glendon School.

The audience was filled with proud parents and family members who took every opportunity they could to catalogue the moment with photos.

Offering words of congratulations during the ceremony were Northern Lights Schools' Superintendent Rick Cusson, school board trustee Vice-Chair Garry Kissel, and Outreach Principal Elliott Bessey.

Sending words of encouragement through recorded video message was Town of Bonnyville Mayor Elisa Brosseau, MD of Bonnyville Reeve Barry Kalinski, Bonnyville MLA David Hanson, and Lakeland MP Shannon Stubbs.
