Honouring the past, looking to the future

The Frog Lake First Nations Powwow was held at the end of July.

FROG LAKE - A change of venue was required for the Wednesday afternoon grand entry at the Frog Lake First Nations Powwow on July 26. Rainy and cool weather resulted in the powwow being moved from the outdoor arbour to the nearby arena.

It took some reorganizing and a shortened grand entry, but the afternoon’s events moved ahead. This year’s powwow was focused on honouring the past and preparing for the future and ran from July 25 to 27 at the Six Chiefs Cultural Grounds.
