ST. PAUL - Approximately 300 people came out for the annual block party at Lagassé Park in St. Paul on Friday.
The family friendly event featured food in the form of hot dogs from Cornerstone Co-op, bannock and jam from Native Counselling Services, popcorn from the Lakeland Family Resource Network, and iced coffee from the Town of St. Paul.
Despite cooler weather than had been hoped for, there was lots of fun to be had for all ages.
Portage College was on hand with frisbees and colour changing cups to give away, and the St. Paul Family Dayhome Society had a booth set up for glitter tattoos. Basketball, cornhole, Connect 4, and a lawn-sized Snakes and Ladders gave plenty of options for things to do.
