SADDLE LAKE – On June 14, a parade and ceremony was held to celebrate the 2024 graduates of Kihew Asinîy Education Centre.
Prior to the parade, Justine Mergl, in her valedictorian address during the graduation ceremony, reflected on the journey of their school career - from kindergarten to Grade 12.
From overcoming many challenges to the friendships made, Mergl expressed her thanks to all.
"The memories we have created together, the laughter we have shared, and the lessons we have learned will forever hold a special place in my heart."
Graduation is a significant milestone for the 13 graduates and, "It is through the guidance and encouragement of our staff that we have been able to reach this point," said Mergl.
It also through the support and love of families that the graduates are able to take the next step in their lives.
"I am inspired by the potential each of us holds to do great things in the future," she said.
