Over 900 celebrate Canada Day in St. Paul

A wide array of activities and events kept attendees entertained during the recent Canada Day celebration in St. Paul. .

ST. PAUL – Over 900 people in the St. Paul region participated at the Canada Day celebrations in St. Paul on July 1. From a petting zoo, musical and stage performances, a car show, free admissions to the cinema and the museum, and more, plenty of activities were available during the day.

"This year's Canada Day celebration was a great success," said Sarah Burton, executive assistant at the Town of St. Paul, and among the organizers of the event. "With perfect weather and lively fiddling entertainment to close out the evening, the festivities ended on a high note just before the fireworks."

She thanked everyone who came out, as well as all the people who made the event possible. "An event of this size is only possible thanks to the many partnerships and dedicated efforts behind the scenes," she said.

Burton also encourages people to provide feedback through an online survey at the Town of St. Paul website.
