Lac La Biche RCMP release images in connection to compressor station break-in

RCMP looking for information into March 30 break in at compressor site on Hwy 36.

LAC LA BICHE - Lac La Biche RCMP say office equipment, solar panels and an air compressor were stolen from a Compressor Station just south of Lac La Biche on Highway 36 in the early morning of March 30.

The RCMP have released two photos of the suspects in relation to the commercial property break-in they say took place at approximately three morning. RCMP say the property sustained damaged on the entrance doorway and outdoor surveillance cameras were also damaged during the break-in.

RCMP describe the first suspect as a male;

  • 6’3 – 6”5, slim build
  • Grey hoodie
  • Blue jeans

The second suspect is also a male; 

  • 6’1” – 6’3” medium-heavy build
  • Black hoodie, camouflage vest
  • Blue jeans with rips.

The value of the items or damage costs have not been released, but the RCMP say the office equipment stolen was a Canon Pixma TR4520 printer and an Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and the Lac La Biche RCMP is asking the public's assistance for any information in relation to the theft.
