Lac La Biche RCMP seek help identifying male suspect from residential break-in

The Lac La Biche RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect from a break-in who gained access to a Lac La Biche home on Feb. 27.

LAC LA BICHE - The Lac La Biche RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect from a break-in who gained access to a Lac La Biche home on Feb. 27.

After receiving an initial report from the residential homes alarm system at 6:30 p.m. the same night, the RCMP say they attended the scene. The homeowners arrived at the scene prior and witnessed a male suspect flee on foot when he saw them—after he initially entered the home through a backside patio at approximately 6:10 p.m. that evening, says the RCMP.

RCMP says the home was not occupied by anyone at the time of the break-in and no items were reported stolen, but the property’s back door did sustain some damages.

The suspect's description is identified as a

·         Male

·         Early 20s

·         Approximately 5’8”, slim build

·         Dark hair, leather-like black jacket and light blue jeans

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and the Lac La Biche RCMP is asking for the public's assistance on any information in relation to the break-in on Feb. 27.
