LAC LA BICHE - Lac La Biche RCMP are asking the public for information relating to a incident involving a man with a knife who reportedly chased another man along a downtown street.
Police say they were called to the intersection of 101 Street and 101 Avenue at noon on May 17 after receiving a complaint that man brandishing a knife had run towards another man. RCMP say a suspect has been found and arrested. Police are now seeking public assistance to identify the other person involved. They say no one was injured during the event or as a result of the arrest.
Charges are still pending while the investigation continues. Police are asking that anyone with information about the victim or potential witnesses to call the Lac La Biche RCMP at 780-623-4380, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
