BONNYVILLE - It is an annual event that has been put on hold since 2019. But the annual Christmas Choir Festival came back to life as voices rang out of the St. Louis De France Catholic Church on the evening of Dec. 8.
Choirs from Bonnyville, Elk Point and St. Paul came together to mark the holiday season with classic Christmas carols and sing-along songs enjoyed by audience members who filled the sanctuary to its capacity.
The evening event also generated $2,135 for the Knights of Columbus Christmas Hampers and Bonnyville Centralized High School's Santa's Elves program.
For some choirs, the Christmas Choir Festival marked the return to performing before an audience in three years.
