BONNYVILLE – Bonnyville RCMP have responded to seven motor vehicle collisions in the three days following the area’s first significant snow fall of the season.

As of Friday morning, RCMP S/Sgt. Sarah Parke tells Lakeland This Week, “We’ve responded to 7 motor vehicle collisions since Tuesday.”

According to Parke, “This number is slightly above average and weather/road conditions were a factor in at least four of the collisions.”

The other three collisions that the local RCMP detachment responded to during that period were the result of collisions with deer, she notes.
