ARRESTED: Parkland County man wanted in connection to Cold Lake First Nations shooting

Chad William Pashko, a 41-year-old of Parkland County, is wanted in connection to a shooting that injured one person on April 15, in the area of Cold Lake First Nations.

On June 15, Parkland RCMP with assistance of the Alberta RCMP Emergency Response Team arrested Chad William Pashko "without incident" at a residence in Lac Ste. Anne County.

Additional charges are pending, according to an RCMP media release.

COLD LAKE – An arrest warrant has been issued for 41-year-old Chad William Pashko in relation to a shooting that is reported to have injured one person in the area of Cold Lake First Nations on April 15. 

The victim, a 43-year-old Kehewin Cree Nation man was found to have suffered a gunshot related injury. 

As a result of the investigation, RCMP have sought an arrest warrant for Pashko, a Parkland County resident. 

Pashko is facing charges of aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, weapons possession contrary to an order (x2), possession of a firearm when knowing it is unauthorized, and failing to comply with release order. 

Pashko is described as having a fair complexion with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 ft. 9 in. tall and weighs roughly 200 lbs. 

Still armed 

Pashko is believed to still be in possession of a firearm and is considered dangerous, according to an RCMP press release.  

If located, members of the public are advised not to approach Pashko, but to immediately report his location to the police.
