Party crasher at private Vezeau function charged with assault

A Saskatchewan man is facing charges of assault after allegedly attending a private event at a hall near Vezeau Beach just after midnight on Sept. 4.

BONNYVILLE – A Saskatchewan man is facing charges of assault after allegedly attending a private event at a hall near Vezeau Beach. 

The incident occurred just passed midnight on Sept. 4, when an unwanted man showed up at a private function and reportedly caused a public disturbance.   

“The man was very intoxicated and attempted to pick fights with several guests at the function,” stated an RCMP media release. 

Police were called to attended and then placed the man under arrest.   

A 35-year-old man from Swift Current, Sask., is charged with assault. He is set to appear in Bonnyville Court on Oct. 25.
