Police hoping to confirm well-being of missing man

*On June 30, 2022, police confirmed Favel's remains had been found following a structure fire in Frog Lake. The fire happened on Nov. 26, 2021. DNA confirmation was made in April of 2022. An updated police report was released on June 30, 2022.

 

SADDLE LAKE - RCMP are hoping to track down a 44-year-old man who was reported missing on Nov. 30 and confirm his well-being.

Phillip Wade Favel was reported missing to St. Paul RCMP, last month. He was last seen on Nov. 21 at about 12 a.m. at his residence in Saddle Lake.

"His family has not had contact with him since that time and are concerned for his well-being," according to police.

Favel is known to travel to Frog Lake and Edmonton. He is described as being 5ft 7in tall and weighs about 230 lbs. He has a stocky build, brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black Under Armour sweater, white t-shirt, blue jeans and has a goatee. 

Police would like to speak with Favel and confirm his well-being.
