Police looking for information following two shooting incidents in Frog Lake

Bullet holes have been reported on two different occasions in buildings.

FROG LAKE - Police are reaching out to the public for information following two shootings reported in Frog Lake earlier this month.

On Feb. 8, Elk Point RCMP were dispatched to a report of a shooting at the Centex gas station in Frog Lake. The complainant reported she arrived at the gas station and noticed three bullet holes in one of the windows, according to information from RCMP.

Then on Feb. 19, Elk Point RCMP were dispatched to another report of a shooting at the Frog Lake Fire Hall and RCMP office, which is located just south of the Centex gas station.

"The complainant reported that he located four bullet holes going through the building. RCMP believe both events are related," according to information from Elk Point RCMP.

Police are continuing an investigation into these incidents and are asking the public to come forward with any information they have. If you have information, please contact the Elk Point RCMP Detachment at 780-724-3964 or any local police.
