UPDATED: The road has since been re-opened.
BONNYVILLE - The MD of Bonnyville has notified the public using their Voyent Alert system of a road closure due to an ongoing police investigation.
There is no danger to the public, however, drivers are being asked to avoid Range Rd. 490, which will be closed two miles north of Hwy. 55.
The road closure is in place effective immediately and will remain until further notice.
