RCMP connect suspect vehicle to a drive-by shooting in Cold Lake

Cold Lake RCMP are still urging members of the public to come forward with any information they may have in relation to a drive-by shooting in the early morning of Nov. 8, that occurred in the Nelson Heights residential area.

A suspect vehicle, believed to be connected to a drive by shooting in a Cold Lake residential area on Nov. 8, was determined to be a silver or light grey Buick Enclave, with the model year between 2007-2012. 

COLD LAKE – Cold Lake RCMP released information on a suspect vehicle believed to be connected to a drive-by shooting that occurred in the residential area of Nelson Heights on Nov. 8.

At around 6:15 a.m. on Nov. 8, Cold Lake RCMP responded to shots fired call at a residence located in the 20 St. area of Cold Lake. 

At the time of the incident RCMP members patrolled the area extensively, but no suspect(s) or vehicle were located at the time, according to police. 

Following the incident, RCMP has received numerous videos and photos of a suspect vehicle that was determined to be a silver or light grey Buick Enclave, with the model year between 2007-2012. 

RCMP are asking members of the public to provide any information they may have on the identity of the individual(s) responsible in the drive-by shooting or the suspect vehicle. 

RCMP say they do not believe the shooting was a random act.
