COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP are investigating a shooting that allegedly occured on Oct. 20 at about 12:50 p.m.
On Tuesday, RCMP responded to a report of an adult male victim with injuries at a residence in the Cherry Grove Community.
"Police arrived and located the victim inside a residence with what are believed to be gunshot wounds," according to RCMP. "The victim was transported to local hospital and then via STARS to Edmonton with serious life threatening injuries.
The Cold Lake General Investigative Section, Lakeland Crime Reduction Unit and RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate the incident.
Police do not believe this was a random act and are asking anyone with information to contact Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3302 or their local police.
