Recreation items totalling $70,000 missing from Lac La Biche cabin

Lac La Biche RCMP looking for public assistance in finding missing items

Lac La Biche RCMP are continuing to investigate the apparent theft of more than $70,000 in recreational equipment including a new ATV, a snowmobile, generators, power tools and a 12-foot Marlon utility trailer, from a seasonal recreation site on the north side of Lac La Biche lake.

Police say items were reported missing on January 26, but have not released a time-frame for when the items could have been taken.

The list of missing items includes a 2023 Artic Cat Alterra 300, a 2021 Marlon utility trailer, a 2009 Skidoo GTX 500SS, a 1000WI Honda generator, as well as a  3000WI Honda generator. Other items include a 25HP Yamaha outboard motor, a Striker pro portable blow up boat, an Eskimo-brand ice fishing tent, an ION battery-powered auger, a nine-ton Mastercraft log splitter, various Milwaukee brand power tools, and a Stihl MS291 chainsaw.

The RCMP have released images of some of the missing items, and are asking for the public's assistance to locate any of the items or provide information about the case.
