Town of Bonnyville reaches agreement with AUPE

The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees and the Town of Bonnyville have reached a tentative agreement after three days of negotiations.

LAKELAND - The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees and the Town of Bonnyville have reached a tentative agreement after three days of negotiations.

According to a release on the AUPE’s website, the agreement includes higher wages for the next three years and improvements to the health benefits package offered by the Town.

“Your negotiating team supports this tentative agreement, and we recommend ratification,” says the AUPE.

Members will have the opportunity to vote on the new contract from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 21 in council chambers at Bonnyville Town Hall.
