BONNYVILLE – Roughly 14 tickets were written while RCMP Traffic Services were conducting patrols in various areas of Bonnyville RCMP’s jurisdiction on March 11.

“Several motorists were observed breaching the Traffic Safety Act and numerous violation tickets were served,” wrote Staff Sgt. Sara Parke in a statement.

Some of the tickets handed out included speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt, driving while suspended, unsafe lane changes, as well as driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving without a driver’s licence and driving with tinted windows.

The values of each ticket for the various violations carry different fine amounts and demerit points, added Parke.
