Two Hills man facing sexual interference charges

A Two Hills man is facing sexual interference charges in a case which began when two youths from the Two Hills area who were reported missing on May 6, were found in Leduc with an adult male, according to an RCMP media release.

A Two Hills man is facing sexual interference charges in a case which began when two youths from the Two Hills area reported missing on May 6, were found in Leduc with an adult male, according to an RCMP media release.

“Through further investigation, the male, identified as Mark Sayler, 40, of Two Hills was arrested.”

Sayler has subsequently been charged with two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of child pornography, three counts of luring a child. Additionally, he is charged with transporting liquor in an open container and giving liquor to a minor.  

Following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Sayler was released from custody to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on June 12, 2025.

“Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and to protect the identities of the youth involved, no further details will be released at this time.”
