UPDATE: On Feb. 1, St. Paul RCMP have amended the charges laid against Zachary Machura in connection to a hit and run incident that occurred on Jan. 28.
"Charges have been amended to include only failing to remain at scene of collision," state RCMP.
ST. PAUL - Charges have been laid in relation to a hit and run that left a pedestrian with life threatening injuries on Friday night.
On Jan. 28 at about 7:10 p.m., St. Paul RCMP, RCMP Forensic Collison Reconstruction, the St. Paul Fire Department and EMS responded to a hit and run collision on Highway 29, west of St. Paul.
Following an investigation, Zachary William Machura, 28, of Vilna, Alta., has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and failing to remain at the scene of a collision under the Traffic Safety Act.

Machura is scheduled to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on March 24.
