The St. Paul Fire Department responded to a house fire on Dec. 18 under extremely cold conditions. 

Winter officially starts this week, but winter weather started earlier for municipal clearing crews.

A 48-year old man from Saddle Lake is charged with assault, breaking and entering, and theft after an incident in St. Paul on Dec. 8. According to RCMP a home on 49 Ave was broken in to and the resident assaulted shortly after 4 p.m.
