Some areas of the Lakeland could see snowfall Wednesday afternoon, with about 5cm expected in the St. Paul and Lac La Biche areas. 

There will be no physician on site in the emergency department (ED) at the George McDougall - Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre for a few dates in December.

Despite the freezing temperatures, the Cold Lake community gathered to celebrate the annual Santa Claus Parade on Nov. 29, followed by Santa's Kickoff Christmas Party at the Cold Lake Energy Centre.  

Earlier in the year, the production was nearly cancelled due to the lack of funding.
