During the June 25 MD of Bonnyville council meeting, Wild Rose Disposal was approved for a development permit application for minor rural industrial use for a non-hazardous waste collection business 650 feet east of the Town of Bonnyville.

Recent decisions by the Alberta Government to limit applications to its Rural Renewal Stream initiative, prompted by an overwhelming response from hopeful applicants, have sparked concern across the Lakeland region. 

The stage was filled with over 100 St. Paul Regional High School graduates on June 28, as the achievements of those graduates were celebrated during an afternoon convocation ceremony.
