Despite a rough start, the Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs ended the week on a positive note.

The Bonnyville Sr. AA Pontiacs tasted victory for the first time this season. The local team walked away with a 10-4 win on Saturday after dominating the Red Deer Rustlers at R.J. Lalonde Arena.

The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs struggled to find their footing against the Spruce Grove Saints. The Pontiacs fell to the Saints on home ice on Friday, and when they entered enemy territory the following night they met the same fate.
