The St. Paul Lions earned a berth in the Wheatland Football League championship game and boosted their provincial ranking to third when they defeated the Lloydminster Holy Rosary Raiders, 61-34, on Saturday afternoon.

The Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association held its provincial cross-country championships in Red Deer last weekend, with Ecole Mallaig School picking up its sixth banner in as many years. Ecole Mallaig School registered 1,020.
