Last Wednesday was a day filled with athleticism and success for a number of area track and field athletes, with St. Paul Regional High School again coming out on top of all the other participating schools in the division.

As duels to the death go, it won't quite cut it, but if you're looking for a spectator sport that's sure to generate laughs, you may want to secure you're viewing spot early for what's bound to be a fun community sporting event.

Over the weekend 90 minor hockey players from the region attended the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Clinic sponsored by Cenovus Energy. The clinic kicked off with a barbecue, courtesy of B & R Eckels.

This year’s RCMP Road Race was certainly one to remember, as 37 teams from schools throughout the area, and as far as Cold Lake and Vermilion, braved the cold weather and brisk wind to take part in the 30th edition of the race.
