On July 24, 2023, Mrs. Helen Borutski of Edmonton, formerly of Elk Point, passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years. She is survived by her son, David (Diane Hinves); grandson, Zachary (Jada Bruer); siblings, Roy (Beverly) Maksymec, John Maksymec and Mary Olinyk. Helen was predeceased by her spouse, Fred; parents, Fred & Anne Maksymec; siblings, Bill, Mike and Steve Maksymec, and Lillian Palinka. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Elk Point. Rt. Rev.
