On July 29, 2022, Mr. Jules-Bernard Journault of St. Paul passed away at the age of 98 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Fernande; 5 sons & 5 daughters, Albert of Edmonton, Suzanne (John) Hemstock, Louise (Lionel) Bellavance, Claire, and Marilyne (Dale) Leckie all of Calgary, Normand (Wendy) of Edmonton, Eugene (Vicki) of Lafond, Conrad (Barbara) of Calgary, Raymond (Linda Alberg) of Lafond, and Chéryl (Roger) Hébert of West Kelowna, BC; 13 grandchildren, Serge (Andrea), Charlotte, Nicole (Evan), Jeremy (Meghan), Janine (David), Jessica, Jeffrey (Marina), John, Leif, Michelle, Caroline (Robert), Danielle, and Maxime; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Journault was predeceased by his son, Ronald; daughter, Lucille; brother, Jean-Charles (Hélène); sisters, Jeannette (Laurent) Robinson, Julianna (Wilfrid) Desaulniers, Juliette (Philippe) Robinson, and Joséphine (Pierre) Brault; parents, Joseph & Marie-Anna (Bélanger) from L’Islet, QC. A Prayer Service was held on Tuesday, August 2 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger was the celebrant, with interment in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lafond.
