On April 22, 2025, Robert “Bob” Peter Kostrub, formerly of St. Paul, Alberta, passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 60 years. He was surrounded by family and love. Bob will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his daughters, Amanda, Ashley & Alannah Kostrub; mom, Jenny Malo; brother, Gary (Jeannine) Kostrub; nephews Tyler & Tysen; sister, Sharon (Brian) Trimble; nieces Krista, Jessica & Kerra; special aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers and many new and old friends who knew and loved him. Bob was predeceased by his father, Percy Kostrub.
Bob was a talented journeyman auto body technician, with a natural attention to detail that set him apart. From prepping and repairing to appraising and painting, he worked fast, with a level of craftsmanship and care that he became known for. If you asked Bob, he’d most likely call himself a painter- Those who knew his work knew he was a true artist in his own right. We will miss his hugs, phone calls and hearing his voice.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation c/o 5626-51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1.
Bob will live on through loving memories and stories, forever in the hearts of those who loved him. Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories online at www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com
