It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Marie Rose Lapointe announce her passing on November 18, 2022 at the age of 96.  She was a loving mom & memé.  Rose Lapointe was born in St. Paul on August 26, 1926, the 16th child of 21, to Celestin & Marie  (nee Belland) Hurtubise.  She is survived by her 5 children, Jeannette of Rich Lake, Angele (Tony) of Chilliwack, B.C., Andre (Colleen) of St. Edouard, Emile (Ronalee) of Kelowna B.C. & Luc ( Jackie) of Leduc; grandchildren, Arthur Bellemare, Mona Bellemare, Andre (Christina) Bellemare, Colette (Shaine) Boisvert, Lorna (Rory) Wiens, Neil Pomerleau, Mandi (David) Routhier, Jonathan (Heather) Pomerleau, Cody Pomerleau, Angela Fox & Suzanne (Lennox) Fraser; great-grandchildren, Brett, Melissa, Brandon, Kristina, Chantelle, Charlene, Jelena, Olivia,  Jaden, AJ, Brittany, Saige, Mia, Zelda, Xander, Jack, Madeleine, Andrew, David & Luke; great-great-grandchildren, Violet, Vander, Lenaya & Lucas; brother-in-law, Real Binette.  Marie Rose Lapointe was predeceased by her parents, Celestin & Marie (Belland) Hurtubise; her husbands, Arthur Pomerleau & Douglas Lapointe; children, Colette, Joseph & Marie; grandson, Ronnie Boisvert; great-granddaughter, Chae-Lynn; great-great-grandson, Noah; as well as all of her siblings. A Prayer Service was held on Friday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul.  Reverend Father Marvin Tanquerido was the celebrant, with interment in St. Edouard Roman Catholic Cemetery, Edouard.  If desired, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation  5626-51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1.
