On May 11, 2024, Mrs. Vera Masluk of Glendon, Alberta passed away at the age of 84 years. She is survived by 2 sons & 1 daughter, Michael (Filomena), Annette (Melton) Makaruk & David; 4 grandsons, Kristopher, Dawson (Maria), Paxton & Triton; great-grandson, Finn; 2 nieces, Patricia Doonanco & Marilyne (Barry) Kissel; numerous great-nieces & -nephews. Vera was predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, Samuel & Maria Wychopen; sister, Mary Zina. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9507 Austin O’Brien Rd NW, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at RCMP Hall, Glendon. Reverend Father Slavko Dumec will be officiating, with interment in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Glendon.
