On February 11, 2021, Mrs. Rose (Frozinia) Romaniuk of Vilna passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years.
She leaves to mourn her 2 daughters & 4 sons, Irene (Wayne) Archibald of Truro, N.S., Cathy Gamble of Yellowknife, N.W.T. , Ed (Eva), Al (Brenda) & Johnny (Irene) all of Vilna & Orest (Julie) of Canoe, B.C.; 16 grandchildren, Teresa (Burt) Anderson, Rick (Karen) Archibald, Deborah (Bruce) Campbell, Billy (Shona) Romaniuk, Linda (Dale) Moric, Robin (Jane) Romaniuk, Chris (Ashley) Romaniuk, Shelley LePaige, Amber Cherniwchan, Rhonda Romaniuk, Brad (Arja) Romaniuk, Melissa (Walter) Lindberg, Jennifer (Dereck) Bay, Josh (Robyn) Romaniuk, Nancy (Rob) Seibel & Jenny (Tyler) Goodyear; 36 great-grandchildren, Melissa (Brad), Ashley (Nick), Vanessa, Brandon, Renee (Zachary), Jenna, Hannah (Morgan), Daniel (Raelyn), Natalie (Jordhan), Dustin (Nicolla), Tyler (Kyla), Jamie, Bo, Bret, Rhoads, Olivia, Autumn, Mikayla, Kathryn, Trent, Britney, Keira, Emerson, Ryan, Lexi, Emma, Chloe, Lyla, Taila, Harry, Thomas, Jane, Lucy, Kate, Emily & Audrey; 8 great-great-grandchildren, Paisley, Korbyn, Rayna, Amelia, Kairi, Parker, Deacon & Mia; brother, Bill Flondra; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Romaniuk was predeceased by her husband, Harry; daughter, Marie Lutz; grandson, Russell; son-in-law, Paul Gamble; parents, Gabriel & Katarina Flondra; 3 brothers, Metro, George & John; 3 sisters, Domka, Vera & Anne.
A Private Funeral Service was held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar officiated, with interment in Sokal Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Spedden.
