To the Bonnyville Nouvelle: I am writing to you because I am concerned about the recent cuts in the 2013 provincial budget, namely the cuts to education and post-secondary institutions.

The career of newspaper reporter has made the top of the list for the worst jobs in North America.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the opportunity to have someone listen to how I feel about the recent Alberta Budget. I was appalled at the cuts and the deficit. Most particularly appalling for me is the action about generic drug prices.

It’s been nearly six years since my husband and I took the official plunge into parenthood and welcomed our oldest son into the world.

Where do you put new industry to attract new business and keep our lakes and subdivisions accessible to new residents?

Oh the benefits and detriments of unfettered industrial growth in Alberta's northeast. More people, more business, more crime, more injuries, more schooling needed, more services required, more everything – except, of course, affordable housing.
