I think we learn a lot from the change that is forced on us by the natural world. We learn that nothing stays the same and that things must change for them to be new. 

A famous face that filled TV screens for over a decade was recently booted off the airways. With over a decade of hosting Canada's number one news cast, Lisa LaFlamme will be missed by many.

Each pen that has found its way into my collection, I believe has its very own unique journey with a past and an uncertain future...

Culture can be easy to miss when you are surrounded by people living the same way as you, but I was reminded of how unique a Canadian wedding may seem by wedding guests arriving from abroad... I say embrace the traditional, put your own spin on it, and remember culture is how we do things around here too.

I managed to escape contracting the COVID-19 pandemic for over two years… but my turn finally came last month.

The dishes are piling up. The dead plant that I underwatered, then overwatered still sits on the shelf like a ghostly place holder. All the things I haven’t done stare at me. Reminding me of how not enough I am.  

The class of 2022 has missed out on a lot of experiences due to the COVID-19 pandemic while trying to adjust to the new normal, but they're stronger for it today.
