Boscombe 4-H holds public speaking day

BOSCOMBE - The Boscombe 4-H Multi Club held its public speaking event on Feb. 12, with youth presenting on a variety of topics. Results from the day include Hjordis St. Arnault in first place for junior speakers, Lennox St.

BOSCOMBE - The Boscombe 4-H Multi Club held its public speaking event on Feb. 12, with youth presenting on a variety of topics.

Results from the day include Hjordis St. Arnault in first place for junior speakers, Lennox St. Arnault came in second place, and Cayson Corbiere finished in third place among the junior members.

In the intermediate category, Miley Michaud finished in first, followed by Odin St. Arnault in second place, and Bryce Michaud in third place.

In the senior category, Lars St. Arnault finished in first place, and Braxton Michaud finished in second place.

Hjordis St. Arnault, Miley Michaud, and Lars St. Arnault will be moving on to complete at the district speech day, set for March 12 in Elk Point.

According to Lennox St. Arnault's monthly report, the public speaking day included amazing speeches, "yummy food" and desert.

"I had lots of fun and really liked to hear everybody's speeches," said Lennox.

The club also held a Valentine's Day party in February, and is now looking forward to a calf tour in early March.
