Calf shot with arrow

On Sept. 24, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Elk Point RCMP responded to a report of cruelty to an animal on a rural property northeast of Elk Point near Range Road 63. Upon arrival police found an injured calf who had been shot with an arrow.

On Sept. 24, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Elk Point RCMP responded to a report of cruelty to an animal on a rural property northeast of Elk Point near Range Road 63.

Upon arrival police found an injured calf who had been shot with an arrow. The calf sustained minor injuries but has since recovered and is doing well.

Elk Point RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance regarding this investigation. The calf is believed to have been shot sometime between Sept. 23-24, 2017 while in a pasture.
