SADDLE LAKE - A 45-year-old man from Cold Lake is facing a list of charges following a collision in Saddle Lake on Dec. 2.
At about 11 a.m., St. Paul RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver. Not long after, RCMP received another report of a collision.
"Police arrived on scene and arrested one male," according to information from RCMP.
Cameron James Houle, a resident of Cold Lake, has been charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle without holding an operator’s license
- Failing to remain at or returning immediately to a scene
- Performing or engaging in stunt or activity likely to distract, startle or interfere with other users of highway
- Failing or refusing to comply with demand (alcohol and drugs)
- Driving carelessly
- Uttering threats against a person
- Assaulting a police officer
- Theft of a sport utility vehicle
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon
Houle was held for a judicial hearing and was remanded into custody. He is set to appear in the St. Paul Court of Justice on Dec. 12.
