County equipment damaged, stolen near McRae

ST. PAUL - The County of St. Paul reported extensive damage to construction equipment, along with some equipment being stolen, to RCMP on Dec. 15, and police are hoping someone will come forward with information regarding the incident.

ST. PAUL - The County of St. Paul reported extensive damage to construction equipment, along with some equipment being stolen, to RCMP on Dec. 15, and police are hoping someone will come forward with information regarding the incident.

The equipment was located near Highway 866 and Township Road 622, which is in the McRae area, in the northern portion of the County of St. Paul.

"The stolen items include equipment batteries, a heater and significant damage to the equipment, with an estimated repair/replacement cost exceeding $10,000," according to St. Paul RCMP. 

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or has information related to the incident, to contact their local RCMP Detachment or call Crimestoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.
