The Haying in the 30’s grounds near Mallaig saw an estimated 6,500 visitors, including campers, converge on the site to enjoy free food and drink, demonstrations, music and more, with donations going towards supporting those affected by cancer. This year’s event has so far raised about $175,000, with more donations still trickling in, according to Haying in the 30’s president Lorne Buryn.
