Life sentence for Frenchman

Frank James Frenchman received a life sentence from the court in Edmonton on July 25. According to the crown prosecutor on the case, Jeff Rudiak, it will be 13 years before Frenchman is eligible for parole.

According to the crown prosecutor on the case, Jeff Rudiak, it will be 13 years before Frenchman is eligible for parole. He is also required to supply the court with a DNA sample and prohibited from owning weapons or firearms for life.

Earlier this year, a jury convicted Frenchman of second-degree murder in the death of 83-year old Bonnyville resident Alfred Wagner during a home invasion and robbery that happened in October 2016. Also accused in the case was Frenchman’s sister, Arizona Chastity Frenchman who plead guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to five years in jail in November 2018.
