ST. PAUL - An afternoon collision between two vehicles along Highway 881 south, just one mile off Highway 29, resulted in minor injuries and closed a portion of the secondary highway for a few hours to traffic, May 5.
Sgt. Bobby Burgess with St. Paul RCMP confirmed earlier in the afternoon that a "serious collision" had occurred along the highway and traffic was being detoured.
At about 5 p.m., Burgess confirmed that while both drivers were transported to hospital, they had "minor injuries."
"Initial investigation indicates the vehicle travelling east on Twp Rd 580 likely failed to stop at the stop sign," said Burgess.
