As of Monday morning (June 10), the County of St. Paul has removed the fire advisory that was in place.

"With the significant amount of precipitation received throughout the county, the County of St. Paul will once again be issuing burn permits for open burning," reads the media release from Fire Chief Trevor Kotowich.

The Level 1 status means there are no restrictions in place. Safe campfires are allowed in campgrounds and in other county areas.

Any burning other than a campfire requires a fire permit, as usual.
