ST. PAUL - The Town of St. Paul is inviting the public to take part in a townhall with local RCMP on Feb. 21.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday at Reunion Station and will offer residents the chance to meet and discuss policing with local detachment management staff, according to Town of St. Paul CAO Steven Jeffery.

"This is a great opportunity for members of the public to learn about current policing initiatives, ask questions around crime in the community and learn more about the processes in dealing with these crimes," said Jeffery.

"We hope that the Town of St. Paul community members will join town council and administration in the opportunity to ask the RCMP any questions [they] may have."

The townhall will focus on safety, crime and the community. Reunion Station is located at 4112-53rd Ave., near the St. Paul soccer field.
